Guest blog interview with Stefani Drake
Over the summer, my friend Stefani approached me about an interview series she wanted to do called, "Amazing Women I Know." I was honored when she asked me to be one of her interviewees, but not nearly as honored as I am to call her sister and friend and family.
Along with running her business Drake Strategies and guest blogging for Twiniversity and raising twin toddlers, she's also the friend who shows up at your door (twins in tow) with Chick-fil-A soup and chocolates when you're down with the plague and haven't showered in days. She serves as a mentor to a group of young, underprivileged youth, is a fierce advocate for women, and gives selflessly to her friends and community. When Charleston received refugee families, she organized a group to assist in their adjustment to American life and hosted a diaper party for the families with young children. In a crisis, she's the first to leap into action. I'm thankful for the pile of moments where she grieved with, celebrated, and encouraged me over the last two years. Not to mention, she's my favorite person to kill an entire of bottle of champagne with.
